Little People recently celebrated their 40th birthday, What can be more delightful than playing with Little People in various playsets. One of the excellent ones is Discovery Airport. This play set provides your child with an early experience with understanding a real airport. With "roll and recognize technology" a vehicle is recognized from five feet away. When the child rolls any of the vehicles near the playset it triggers off lights, sounds and speech. For example, rolling the airplane activates the tower and run-way lights, airplane sounds and two different phrases: "I Love Flying" and "Welcome Aboard". In addition, the airport terminal and roadway includes an airplane, helicopter, baggage car and taxi as well as the figures of a pilot, cab driver and other figures. Your child will delight in playing with this product over and over again and feel much more comfortable with trips to the airport after they have played with this play set. History of Little People

Little People started in 1950 with the Looky fire truck and three fire men. Later, the toy wagon was introduced with horses and a little driver. Then, the safety school bus was introduced with a little driver. The themes continued to include fire engines, play families, Sesame Street play sets and so on. In 1999, Little People celebrated their 40th birthday with the reintroduction of the first Little People toy ever: Little People school bus and characters. The play sets include the school bus, circus train, construction vehicles and home and other play sets.
