This is a series of three interactive multi-media learning tools that your child will enjoy. The Smart-Bears are fun-filled warm-hearted, read-along adventure stories. Children will learn to read and explore through interactive nature stories. It incorporates "smart pages" with animated text synchronized to character's voices. Click on the binoculars and the story comes to life with animation and sound. A magnifying feature allows children to create and print a stamp picture. Help build your child's vocabulary, speech, language, motor and communication skills with this learning tool. Have fun recognizing the Smart-Bear friends and traveling through each story. It will allow children to experiment with words, phrases and sentences. Children can connect to the Internet and receive a daily update on the weather and bear activity on the mountains. Researcher notes are presented for children who want to learn more amazing animal facts. Printable bear masks are included in Volume One. Print the masks from the CD-ROM to a color printer and use the masks to act out scenes in Smart-Bear or use the prints to create party hats for hours of fun. Smart-Bear Adventures is produced in British Columbia and has been recommended by the Ministry of Education in Canada for use in schools to teach science and language arts.
